My display shakes and appears to be unstable. Every couple of minutes, the picture flickers and goes blank. While it is flickering, a blue line bounces from the middle to the bottom of the screen. A temporary cure is to turn the monitor off for a few seconds, then turn it back on. I have a Tiny own-brand monitor and its warranty has just expired.
You may have an intermittent connection between the graphics card and monitor. Check the connectors are done up tight. If they are, test the lead by wiggling the cable near each connector to see if this produces the flickering. If nothing that you do to the cable has any effect on the picture, the monitor is probably faulty. See also tip Shrinking display problems
